JON HORFORD

A former college and professional basketball player, Mr. Horford has dedicated thousands of volunteer hours coaching and mentoring young athletes in the Lansing Area. He co-chairs Grand Ledge United, serves on the Michigan Black Leadership Advisory Council Health Committee, and founded the Lansing Student Development Program. Jon earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, his master’s degree from the University of Florida, and he is a 2021 graduate of the Michigan Political Leadership Program.
